Mother, daughter, friend, woman. These are just a few of the words which describe my role in this world. I am passionate about birth, pregnancy, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, trusting our bodies and living gently on this earth. I believe that every mother deserves a beautiful and satisfying birth, and it is my goal as a doula to serve families in this light.
My desire to do birthwork came soon after welcoming my daughter with a phenomenal home birth experience. By my side, along with my midwives and partner, was a dear friend, who helped us to have a truly wonderful birth on that snowy winter night. Shortly after my daughter's first birthday I began my doula journey.
I am also passionate about childbirth education, and empowering women to have their best birth possible.
Prior to becoming a mother, I earned my BA in Philosophy and Cultural Studies.
