Labour Doula

As your doula, I am dedicated to helping you discover the path to your best birthing experience.

My labour doula services include:

• Complimentary consultation: This time serves as a great opportunity to get acquainted and to answer any questions you may have about my services.
• 1-2 prenatal visit(s): A time to discuss your pregnancy, birth "wish list", questions or concerns, labour preparation and more.
• Continuous phone/email support: You will have access to me via email, phone & text throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period.
• 24/7 on call support beginning 2 weeks before your due date, up until the birth.
• Unwavering labour support at home/in hospital: Including use of varied comfort measures such as massage, aromatherapy, breathing and relaxation techniques and much more.
• Immediate postpartum support for 1-2 hours after the birth, including assistance with breastfeeding.
• Postpartum visit(s) in your home (or hospital) during your early days with baby.
• Access to my lending library: My collection of pregnancy, birth and parenting books are available to your during my service as your doula.

Childbirth Classes

The Bellies, Birth & Beyond prenatal course is designed to help expectant mamas and their partners prepare for labour, birth and the early days of parenthood. This course is perfect for first time parents, as well experienced parents who are looking for a refresher, or who haven't previously taken a prenatal course.

During this five week comprehensive course, we will discuss:

• Late pregnancy & the pregnant body
• Premature labour
• Relaxation and massage
• Labour and birth
• Comfort measures
• Medication, interventions & unexpected outcomes
• Welcoming baby
• Breastfeeding
• Early days with baby
• Babywearing
• Community resources & support
